“Flying Farmer” flies West (8/23/2022)

Reported by his daughter Joanna:  briarnest@gmail.com

My father, Charles A. Kulp, Sr., was a member of your organization.  He passed away 10-17-21 at the grand age of 96. He was a celebrated pilot known world wide.  I am having a life celebration at the Flying Circus Airshows in Bealeton, VA on September 17, 2022 and would love to get the message out to as many of your members as possible. It is a casual event, bring your own picnic and chairs, picnic pavilion available, event time 11:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m. We will be sharing stories and saying goodbye. I can be contacted at the above email if anyone has questions. I also have a poster for the event, if you have a way for me to send an attachment.

Difficulty with online dues payment?   (3/6/2022)

Several members have reported difficulty making an online dues payment.  It could get a bit tricky so here is a tip

When you submit your renewal form you will be directed to the Secure payment site.  You will arrive at the invoice page select the Blue “Continue” button.  This site is hosted by PayPal and on the next page they offer two ways to pay;

PayPal account or by credit card

(Note: there is no requirement of have a PayPal account to pay by credit/debit card)

If you wish to pay by credit/debit card, select the rather plain choice “Pay with Credit or Debit Card” NOT the quite obvious Blue “Log In” button.

The rest is very intuitive.  If you have any questions, drop us a note at webmaster@silverwings.org and we can help you out.
